Q: How many appointments are needed?
Two. The procedure is a two part process and each appointment takes approximately one hour. 1 & ½ hours are required for the first appointment to discuss your needs and to check medical history etc. When the topical anaesthetic has numbed the skin, the skin is marked using an eyebrow or lip pencil. Once you are happy with the shape the pigment is implanted over the pencil line. The second appointment should ideally be 4 weeks later but no later than 3 months. This is the “top up” appointment and no further treatment is required. The procedure is not finished until the second top up appointment has been completed.
Q: Does it hurt?
Sensation varies greatly from person to person. Topical anaesthetics are applied prior to every procedure to make clients as comfortable as possible, many say the level of discomfort is similar to waxing or electrolysis and some barely feel any discomfort.

Eyebrow hairs can be simulated creating a framed look to the face. Eyebrows that have drooped with age can be raised slightly opening up the eye for a more youthful look. Lips can be defined creating the illusion of fuller lips for an increased youthful colour. The pigment will remain in the skin for 2-5 years.
